Authentic people have cultivated a mindset and an intrinsic value system that are reflected in a wholehearted and open-minded attitude to life, healthy and strong boundaries, self-respect and respect for others, transparency, trustworthiness and dependability.

For us to be authentic, we need to cultivate a consistency between what we say and what do. This in turn requires a sound connection between our thinking and feeling brain. It means our thoughts and feelings are in sync and aligned.
